An Afternoon With Daisy
After a long few weeks of exciting shoots, collabs, and launches, the chance to unwind for all the team was much needed. Even the sun decided to join us following days of dreary rain - providing the perfect opportunity to dine al fresco in the remnants of summer.
Tables were decorated with Yolke’s stunning floral tablecloths and, as the afternoon sun began to dim, were lit by turquoise candle holders from artisanal homeware brand Att Pynta. Vases of daisies saved from our weekly Daisy’s London made the perfect centrepiece for a floral-themed party, alongside iridescent candlesticks from Issy Granger. Dotted about the table was an array of quirkily mismatched glassware – or so we’re calling it - ranging from crystal cocktail glasses to colourful glass tumblers.
The main event – aside from Ruth’s birthday, of course – were the platters from Grape and Fig. They included fresh bread and rich cheeses such as Rosary goat cheese and Wensleydale cheddar, and were complemented by delicious antipasti, fresh fruits, and nuts. Amie, a wine company born out of local Notting Hill, also provided bottles of their delicious rosé and Carignan – which went down a treat with the whole team.
Conversation flowed as we finally got a chance for an in-depth catch-up after the past few weeks. Although it may have been the last hurrah of summer, it certainly was not the end of this year’s celebrations.
