Estée Lalonde | The Journey So Far
Sometimes, the best way to start a new chapter is to look back at how far you've come.
It's time to push pause, reflect on our journey and take a trip down memory lane to reminisce on some of our favourite moments together with Estée.
Starting where it all began, with our first big design meeting in early 2018. After hours of brainstorming and many cups of tea, the start of the Estée collection was born. Inspired by Estée’s upbeat attitude to life and the notion of coming back to yourself, the ideas and deigns came together and the debut collection launched later that year. The collection is our take on vintage jewellery from the 1970's and each piece was designed with protection, positivity and presence in mind.
"Looking back to when we launched the first collection, I’ll never forget that feeling. Overwhelmed with excitement, fear and anticipation. I didn’t know what to expect. I just knew what I loved and what I needed the collection to be for me, in that moment of my life."
Our first trip together was to Seville in Spring 2019. Together Estée and the team walked down the cobbled streets, in some incredible outfits, stylish sunnies and of course pieces from the debut collection.
That summer we took flight again on an adventure to Marrakech in order to capture our second collection, the Goddess collection. We couldn't have asked for a more magical location that completely captured the essence of the collection, the power of feminine energy and the notion that we are all perfectly imperfect.
"You can be whoever you want to be. That’s why I wanted to create my own collection. I can put my jewellery on every day and be any version of myself. It’s so powerful that such a small thing can make you feel so different."
This time last year, October 2019, we arrived in the Big Apple for The Goddess Gathering. The room was adorned with flowers, a grazing table and all the jewellery a goddess could ever need.
We ended 2019 the best way we knew how, with a little party and the launch of our limited edition Goddess pieces. You all loved the special pieces so much we just couldn’t say good bye to them forever. Full of glits and glam, and of course a little champagne, we celebrated the launch and the year in style together.
"I’ve learned a lot this year, haven’t we all? I’ve learned about myself and my limits. I’ve learned that being true to ourselves is the only way we can really feel fulfilled. But I’m still learning, and we’re still on our journey."
Fast forward to now and a new chapter is beginning. We can't wait to share the new collection with you very soon.
