behind the scenes
Get Goddess Ready With Scarlett Burton
Hi Scarlett, first up hair and those effortless waves, tell us everything…
I always start by prepping the hair with some Bed Head Queen For A Day to hold the curl. Then I rough dry it to get as much natural texture as possible. I finish with a texture spray like Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Texture spray.
Estée has the most amazing skin, we are so jealous! Do you even need to use anything?
Only a little make-up is needed to even out her skin tone as Estée takes such good care of it. I use Chantecaille Future Skin and buff really well. I then finish the skin with plenty of bronze like Soleil Tan de Chanel and a hint of blush with Nars The Multiple in Maui.
You make it look so easy!
For the eyes, I use Mac Paint Pot in Quite Natural as the creamy base with Charlotte Tilbury The Icon Palette for the bronzey eyeshadows and for definition in the lash line, Mac Eyeliner in Teddy. YSL Brow Couture Gel and layers of mascara finish the eyes. I complete the look with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer and highlight on the cheeks.
And it’s as easy as that? We’ll be practising for the foreseeable future.
Scarlett’s Top Tips:
Brows – back brush brow hairs first to coat them underneath, then brush into place and let them set for thick, fluffy brows.
Lips – with more dramatic eyes, keep lips simple with something like Glossier Generation G Lipstick in Cake.
Hair – always run your fingers through your hair to break up the sections of curls for a more laid back vibe.
