Let’s Just A Take A Moment For The Dress…
To celebrate this collaboration, we hosted a party at Jikoni, inviting friends, supporters and press along for an evening of pea martinis, Avocado & Yuzu Tarlets, daisy chain transfer tattoos, live music and the most incredible cake.
When Hannah Weiland (shrimps founder) and I were looking at venues for the party, as soon as we walked through the doors of Jikoni, it felt like home, and we knew it was exactly how we wanted everyone to feel.
When it came to deciding what to wear I knew I wanted it to be special. It needed to be bright, beautiful, comfortable and floaty. Enter loanthelook!
I stumbled across loanthelook on Instagram and love that all the dresses are owned and cared for by them, and the fact that they have a showroom where you can try on as many dresses as you want before committing to hiring. A really nice touch. So off I trotted to their showroom / apartment in Holland Park to play dress up. Tea or coffee served on arrival, shoes to try on with your dress for height and even handbags to add on too. I hired the Lennox dress by Hannah Artwear (RRP £450, hire price £85).
To dress the Daisy team, our good friends at Nobody’s Child (known for their sustainable fashion and collaboration with Fearne Cotton), generously offered each of them their choice of outfits to bring the jewellery to life. See below what the team wore and the jewellery they styled for the night.
