If there's one thing for sure, we've all learnt to lean into the joys of the staycation. Yes, the British weather can be unpredictable, but there's something about a change of scenery, no matter how local it might be, that really resets the system and helps us feel afresh. At Daisy, we've taken the chance to escape as much as possible. So, with summer ahead of us, we're sharing some of our favourite staycation spots with you.

Where have you all been escaping to over the last year?
The Cotswolds
We spent a weekend with Estée at Soho Farmhouse which feels like forever ago now, and we've been dreaming of it ever since. If you do manage to book a room, drop whatever you're doing and go. This place books up fast. Failing Farmhouse, why not try The Fish, where you can choose between treehouses fit for a Queen and the cutest little shepherds huts, complete with outdoor Jacuzzis.
What jewellery to pack?
We shot the Estée Elevate collection in The Cotswolds’ answer to an Ibizan party pad back in November. Cornwall
It seems like half the country has been flocking to Cornwall this year, and the Daisy team have been no exception. In search of surf, sea, and (fingers crossed) sun, its azure waters and dramatic coastline transport you to a place that feels a lot further away than South-West England. Then there's the food! Ice cream, cream teas, pasties, and some of the best seafood in the country. We think the best thing to do when it comes to a holiday in Cornwall is to get on AirBnB (quick!) and find a house for you and your pals—as close to the ocean as possible.

Devon
Our bestee, Estée, recently escaped to Devon with her doggo, Effie, for some fresh air and country walks in Dartmoor, and we'd be lying if we said we weren't a little jealous. One of the most ruggedly romantic places in the country, the River Dart has become a favourite spot with wild swimmers. Brace yourself; it's chilly!

Somerset
Two of our Daisies, Meg, our Marketing Manager and Sally, our Marketing Director are Somerset locals, so they know it like the back of their hand. From the Regency-era architecture of Bath to the artsy crowd in Frome, there's something for everyone in Somerset. We love At The Chapel in Bruton, a converted chapel and bakery by day, restaurant by evening, hotel by night – and we're dying for a room at The Newt.

There may be no Glastonbury, but Somerset is a place where artists flock and creativity thrives, so why not channel a bit of that with a piece from our Artisan collection? Hampshire
Ruth, our Creative Director, headed off to Wild Escapes in Hampshire earlier this year for a digital detox and creative escape. Four treehouses overlook a valley of vineyards, making it feel more Southern Italy than Southern England. We're talking outdoor baths, log-burners, and yes, no internet. If you can't imagine yourself logging off for that long, why not try Lime Wood, in The New Forest, for the ultimate spa escape.

Dorset
For us, Dorset conjures up childhood memories of melting ice creams and crabbing in Salcombe. There's something so perennial about holidays here. From The Ferry's Inn to Cranch's Sweet Shop: it never seems to change. In our opinion, there's no better stay in Dorset than at The Pig on The Beach.

Brighton
If you're after a city escape, then Brighton has all of London's buzz but by the sea. Camping
And then, there's always camping! Leo, in our ops team, recently bought himself a VW Campervan and is planning a road trip around the UK this summer. Nothing screams freedom more than the open road, right?
