Whilst I live in Brighton, there’s nothing I love more than a trip to the beach. I’m from the area and I can’t get enough of the sea! I like to get up for sunrise, take a stroll along the promenade and end up at the Palace Pier.
What’s the earliest adventure you can remember going on?
The earliest adventure I can remember going on was a family camping trip to Cornwall. It hammered it down the whole weekend (which is very typical for our British weather) however I loved listening to the rain against the tent whilst being snug and warm inside.
Any top tips for creating that feeling of exploration and being free, even if you can’t travel far?
We’re not going away this year so this is very true for us! Sometimes it’s just about chucking lunch in a bag, packing a coat and getting some comfy footwear on. A spontaneous trip to the beach, a drive into the countryside, the outdoors is great!
You’re off somewhere exciting for the day, what essentials are in your bag?
First and for most my camera is coming with me! Sunglasses, my reusable water bottle, a lip balm and my airpods.

I’m planning a trip to Cabu Cabins soon, it’s located in Kent. It has a proper scandi vibe inside, fitted with a log burner and self contained kitchen to cook meals.. and it’s right on the beach. Ronnie will love it!
