The Black Makers Edit

Being an ally to the black community comes in many forms, from speaking out against injustices and donating to charities working to fight racism; to supporting black-owned businesses and makers.

This year at Daisy we’ve launched the Black Makers Edit, a curated collection of products from some of our favourite black-owned brands and artisans that we think our customers will love as much as we do. It’s time to share the stage and encourage our community to buy from some of our favourites.

Featuring Idan Oil, from all natural beauty brand Liha, a Twine Basket Kit by the queen of weaving Tabara aka La Basketry, bright and beautiful Kitenge Napkins from ethical homeware brand QÄSÄ QÄSÄ and a dried flower wall hanging by floral artist Hazel Gardiner.

How Does It Work?

1. When you buy an item from the Black Makers Edit, all of your money goes directly to the maker themselves, Daisy doesn’t take a penny.

2. Not only that, every time an item is sold from the edit, Daisy will donate £5 to our Black Makers Fund. Our makers have each chosen a charity for this fund to split amongst.

3. You also have the option to add a donation to the Black Makers Fund yourself which you’ll find on each product page.

Stay tuned to our IGTV where we’ll be hearing more from each of our makers. Let’s make it meaningful this Christmas.
